As we flip the calendar to another year, our New Years' Prediction is for a great year of golf at the Newell Golf Course. And it looks like we are getting off to an early start with several members already taking advantage of the unseasonable warm temperatures this January.

We are also making some resolutions for 2012:
- To continue to make improvements to our golf course.
- To build on our leagues encouraging more members to take part.
- To put an added emphasis on tournaments with increased participation.
- To offer more informal scrambles and member events.
- To make improvements to our clubhouse to make it more efficient and user friendly.

In order to accomplish our resolutions we continue to need the help from our membership. Thank You in advance for helping with work days, being an active member, and taking part in our activities. Another way to help is by paying memberships early. In order to encourage you to pay early and for you to invite golfers to try our course the board is again offering green fee tickets. If you pay your membership in January your will receive 6 free green fee passes, in February 4, and in March you will get 2 passes. We also remind anyone that would like to make payments to start doing so in January so your membership is paid up in May.

Membership Form Worksheet (open in Excel and then it is a simple matter of replacing the 0 with a 1 and the charges will be figured for you. Then print and send with your payment.
